Thoughts for Today

Personal productivity. Try it, I dare you!

I don’t know about you, but this winter weather at the end of March has put me in an extremely depressing state. I have been feeling frustrated, emotional, and have just had an overall negative feeling. I tried hibernating… I tried repeating positive thoughts over and over and over again. I tried sleeping it off, rejuvenating, becoming a workaholic to keep busy, but I still feel very down. Today I woke up and decided to be like my mother, superwoman. I realized why I was feeling this way!

Im the type of person that makes lots of lists. When things on my list don’t get crossed out, my anxiety and stress levels get sky high. Today I dedicated my day to do as many things on my list as possible… Now at the end of my day I feel accomplished, more secure, and more confident in my future. It’s amazing how personal productivity can influence your life! Having a sense of self accomplishment and self success is so important and for me personally, it really improves my daily morale. So if the snow and your frostbitten feet are putting you down, make your to-do list. There’s nothing better at the end of your day than putting a big line through every errand and “to-do” that you have. Try it, I dare you!
